This includes news selection and visuals (images, videos and infographics), integrating social media into the news presentation, as well as determining homepage hierarchy. Monitor wires.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with reporters / journalists to clarify fact and details about a story to ensure that they are correct and in compliance with the copyright laws, market sensitivities and will not tarnish the reputation of the publication.
• Liaise with contributors – journalists, copywriters, product managers, marketing executives, researchers, photographers, publishers or image libraries, etc. – to gather and publish relevant content.
• Create micro-sites/polls/surveys; seek and curate reactions and user comments.
• Create special pages/sections.

Requirements:

• Micro-sites, Poll Survey, Reactions and user comments.
• Creating special online pages on features and updating specific pages / sections assigned.
• Other assignments as and when required by Line Manager
