Technical Engineer – Dotnet Framework and Tooling Jobs in Dubai

Responsible for Technology Implementation and Operational Support of the relevant technology area for production & development, including configuration, testing, implementation and support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical input to assist with Capacity Management, IT Service Continuity and Availability.
• Ensure that assigned incidents are resolved within the agreed Service Levels and where applicable, workarounds are provided to minimise business impact.
• Ensure that assigned problems are defined and analysed in line with the Problem Management Process.
• Ensure that solutions to problems meet the architectural and security standards within the technology area and impact to the business is minimised.

Requirements:

• Experience should include new scripting, customisation of existing scripts, integrations, testing, and deployment
• Experience should include expert understanding of installation/uninstallation using MSI files
• Experience working and developing with Windows Batch Scripts, VBScript, PowerShell scripts
• Experience in working with windows registry
• Experience in trouble shooting and supporting .NET frameworks, third party tools (like UI controls, chart controls), reporting components like Crystal Reports (installation and maintenance)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (like GIT source controls, GIT clients, Jenkins, Nexus repository manager)
