This role is for a Statutory Accounts Lead, located in Jebel Ali- Dubai. The role requires someone who has a deep understanding / experience in Statutory Accounts & Audit.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to AMEA controller in the Dubai office
• Managing the stakeholders
• Requirements and scheduling of Audit work
• Filing statutory accounts and managing backlog according to French GAAP
• Work on trial balances and monthly closings
• Agile and energetic person who does not micromanage
• Organized and meticulous with the teams of auditors and accountants
• Looking at complex contracts and excels

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or any relevant field.
• At least 4 years of experience within the accounting/finance function including experience in Statutory Accounting.
• Willing to travel to Africa once every quarter.
• Strong written and spoken skills in both English and French.
