1- Specialist Pediatric ICU
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs the professional duties of a pediatric critical care doctor
• To perform his duties on the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and provide support for very sick children across the hospital in-patient setting, namely the Emergency Department, Operating rooms and the Pediatric Ward
• Performs general or special examinations and other procedures covering the full scope of the field of pediatric critical care. Orders laboratory examinations and x-rays, determines diagnosis, prescribes nursing and dietary care necessary, orders or applies such preventive measures as required, provides life-saving intervention relating to airway, breathing and circulatory support of the critically ill child
• Reviews journals, texts or periodicals in order to update latest techniques, procedures, drugs and therapy
• Provides on-call emergency coverage for PICU and Emergency patients

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a pediatric critical care setting
• Medical Degree
• Has a basic understanding of computing
• Certification by a relevant Board of Pediatrics or equivalent
• Must have be certified with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
