Job: The Civil Engineer will manage all phases of FM Civil construction projects, Civil Fitout / Renovation works  including coordinating with Client, Inhouse team, subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed, and work is done as per contract requirements with quality, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Review tender / contract documents to understand the complete scope for project delivery and develops documents for initiation of projects to gain approval from client for job commencement.
• Prepares requests for proposal and conducts all necessary meetings, reviews bids, and recommends award of contract to facilitate hiring of vendors, contractors for outsourced scope of work.
• Ensure Contracts / Projects are executed within the budget.
• Direct employees in construction and maintenance procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, as well as compliance with all applicable regulations and authorities having jurisdiction.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Understanding of local market and knowledge of Public Entities, contractors and vendors.
• Understanding of Fidic / Civil contracts.
• 10 years’ experience in a related field of which 5 years are in a similar capacity in the Civil Fit out , Renovations Projects .
