Responsibilities:

  • Outlining the scope of projects, including determining the start and key milestone delivery dates
  • Track critical activities, milestones, interdependencies, and changes to critical path impacting the project
  • Estimating the project timeline and making sure teams adhere to delivery dates
  • Developing and updating on regular 3-months and 6-months lookahead schedules
  • Identifying changes in work scope in the project plan
  • Reviewing schedules prepared by others
  • Integrating multiple schedules into master schedule and managing the baseline
  • Identifying and evaluating risks that can derail project delivery and providing solutions to prevent them
  • Providing reports on deviations to the original project plan that can lead to major delays and budget overruns
  • Overseeing schedules and risk management plans and providing advance warnings notices that could be hindering project timeline and the goals
  • Ensuring to take appropriate planning measures with the NHD and the Proponents to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets
  • Recommending and implementing modifications to improve effectiveness and attain project milestones
  • Preparing and presenting project schedule reports to the key stakeholders
  • Populating and presenting regular Hotel Assets Regional Dashboard Reports to key stakeholders
  • Providing comprehensive project data to teams to help them work more effectively
  • Monitoring and analysing project effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative tools
  • Documenting and maintaining records on project scheduling processes
  • Ensuring to convey required project data and information to project teams
  • Gathering actual data, updating project schedule and developing reliable schedule forecast with support from project teams
  • Providing inputs and schedules to the Sector in preparation of presentations to the Regional proponents and the Founding Board
  • Collaborating with the technical and operation teams and other stakeholders on short and long-term plans for resource allocation and work scheduling
  • Assisting the Senior Managers – Design & Architecture in planning of meetings & workshops to improve performance and efficiency
  • Planning, coordinating and monitoring activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems
  • Educating teams in planning methods to ensure project continuity and completeness
  • Developing detailed task lists and work effort assessment
  • Preparing short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Project Scheduler/ Planner on complex design and construction projects
  • Sound understanding of construction logic and sequencing of builds
  • Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling
  • Proficiency in the Project Planning software and tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Projects
  • Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications, as well as an understanding of contract principles
  • Demonstration of flexibility and adaptability in work style to better respond to multiple requests/tasks and handle sudden changes in priorities
  • Analytical thinking skills
  • Able to use initiative and a adopt a proactive approach
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
