Responsibilities:

  • Civil Engineering degree with min 10 years experience in building construction projects and min 3 years in similar position
  • Experience in Building construction projects is a must preferably mid rise/high rise building projects
  • Attend Construction Kick Off Meetings
  • Ensure that the project mobilization effort is well-planned and monitored.
  • Ensure that the project close out effort is well-planned and monitored.
  • Electromechanical co-ordination as defined.
  • Effective control over quality records and quality documentation.

Requirements:

  • Effective and timely requisitioning for materials and services required.
  • Input towards rating the performance of project suppliers/ subcontractors (internal / external).
  • Ensure implementation of all aspects of Project Inventory control.
  • Ensure the necessary briefings / tool box talks for subordinates and labor respectively.
  • Material management (logistics) and equipment management related to the project.
  • Ensure that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance criteria identified for the project and standard practice.
  • Conduct daily meetings with site staff to organize work in line with daily/weekly/monthly targets and brief the Project Manager accordingly.
