Procurement clerks process requests within many types of organizations for material or supply orders. They monitor purchases, make sure they arrive on schedule and meet the needs of the purchaser, and handle questions and changes in orders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Secure delivery of the best possible products at the best possible price within required timeframe while confirming to the quality and hygiene standards of the hotel
- Ensure proper filing and allocation of the purchase orders and required supporting documentation as per the Procurement Policy
- Ensures timely delivery of goods and services
- Responsible for resolving issues with vendors/delivered items or services raised by colleagues or HODs, filling up complaint forms when necessary
- Maintain list of approved and non-preferred vendors as per the respective HODs vendor performance feedback report and in accordance with the Procurement Policy
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- He/she must have worked in a high business volume hotel and procurement function
- Must be a computer savvy, with excellent MS Excel skills and previous experience with FBM system is an advantage
