Our company is looking for a Polisher to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist other stations or areas of the restaurant when requested by management;
• Complete all assigned side work related to set up and breakdown of dish pit area;
• Regular polish and maintenance of metallic grill rims, grill equipment, and kitchen pots and pans using metal polish;
• Adhere to company uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards. Arrive to each scheduled shift on time, in uniform, and ready to work;
• Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware so that it can be put through the dish or pot machine properly;
• Maintain all tools of the position including specialty glass polishing clothes;
• Assume 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware, silverware and glassware.

Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
• Able to work under general supervision and follow instructions;
• Knowledge of safe chemical and equipment handling required;
• Detail-oriented and efficient;
• High school diploma encouraged;
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs;
• 1-3 years experience preferred;
• Experience in a manufacturing facility;
