The Front Line Order Taker is responsible for assisting customers with menu selection, recommendations, and taking accurate food orders in a friendly and hospitable manner. This role effectively keeps the flow of the restaurant moving smoothly by maintaining clear communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• To make inter-kitchen transfer for the evening amenities, milk, mint leaves, lemon & welcome drink juices
• To follow and traces the guest request (On-call) items upon departure
• To co-ordinate with the stores to receive ordered stock and the collection and storage of the same
• To be responsible for the control, inventory, upkeep and maintenance of the Butlers’ Store Room, its Stock and Supplies
• To follow up on any pending handover in the logbook if any
• To prepare and distribute the Guest Occasion Cards to the respective floors as necessary and/or as per instructions
• To assist Butler Management with additional tasks
• To perform residence inspection prior to Guest arrival
• To inspect all assigned guest rooms to ensure service standards are followed
• To record and follow-up on any guest rooms that were not serviced properly

Requirements:

• Must be able to take orders while talking on a phone
• Must be TEAM certified or be able to obtain TEAM certification before first day of work
• Flexible schedule to include AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays
• Move, bend, lift, carry, objects weighing up to 30 pounds and push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
• Ability and willingness to work a varied work schedule including AM and PM shifts nights and weekends
