Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread newsletters for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style
• Manage a team of Writers to ensure all deadlines are met
• Plan email marketing campaigns and oversee their execution
• Pitch newsletter topics to the content team
• Perform A/B tests and provide suggestions for improvements
• Collaborate with marketing and graphic design teams on new newsletter deliverables
• Maintain an up-to-date list of subscribers
• Write newsletters when necessary
• Organize layout and select photos and graphics for newsletters

Requirements:

• Building out, executing and constantly refining the newsletter strategy.
• Be bi-lingual (English and Arabic).
• Be able to create and manage expert, insightful content across multiple verticals.
• Liaising with the key stake-holders to ensure that the messaging is targeted and accurate.
• Liaising with the sponsorship team to ensure the newsletters have commercial viability.
• Constantly monitoring analytics and adjusting content and approach to meet audience growth goals.
• Build out audience profiles and segment databases accordingly, ensuring subscribers are only receiving content that is genuinely relevant to them.
• Work with the web, editorial and performance teams to target potential audiences and promote newsletters, developing creative ways to grow subscribers.
• Ensure all content produced fits within brand guidelines.
