Responsibilities:

• Undertakes analysis, design and produces technical specification documentation for new development work and changes to existing applications.
• Develops customised solutions leveraging the Microsoft .Net framework and utilizing ASP.Net, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and C#
• Works as a member of an Agile Scrum team, delivering business value deployments in sprints of 2 weeks.
• Acts a lead technical resource for .Net application related design, performance, security and configuration considerations.
• Ensures that solutions adhere to software development best practices and security policies and control standards outlined in the Cigna Information Protection policy
• Ensuring any developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supporting and developing .Net C# solutions in a production environment
• Expert knowledge/experience in Asp.net web application / ASPX forms
• Expert knowledge/experience in jQuery and Angular
• Extensive knowledge/experience in oracle PL SQL and SQL
• Good knowledge in React.Js, Node.js, Bootstrap.
• Good knowledge in REST/SOAP standards.
• Strong experience with Web services, WCF and Service Orientated Architecture
• Excellent problem solving skills and a flair for reverse engineering complex code.
• Comfortable working on a variety of tasks simultaneously with excellent organisational skills.
