Responsibilities:
- Undertakes analysis, design and produces technical specification documentation for new design work and changes to existing applications.
- Works as a member of an Agile Scrum team, delivering business value deployments in sprints of 2 weeks.
- Acts a lead technical resource for mobile application development
- Ensures that solutions adhere to software development best practices and security policies and control standards outlined in the Cigna Information Protection policy
- Ensuring any developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable.
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions, troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Design interfaces to improve user experience.
- Liaise with Product development team to plan new features.
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols.
Requirements:
- BSc degree or above in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Native Mobile Application developer (Android/IOS)
- In-Depth knowledge in programming language like Swift, Objective C, Java and Kotlin.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON data.
- Experience working with git-based source control.
- Familiarity with OOP design principles.
- Experience with offline databases.
