Description:

Parsons Corporation is looking for a highly organized and ambitious Marketing Assistant to join the MEA Marketing Team. This is a great opportunity to get real hands-on experience contributing to a digitally enabled solutions provider, focused on creating the future of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in formation of marketing strategy and assists with execution of all facets of the marketing plan.
  • Gathers and organizes information from many sources, coordinates priorities with the manager, transmits the data to the appropriate support group for review, word processing or graphics design work.
  • Manages deliverable schedules and immediately notifies the manager of potential delays.
  • Provides support to, and may perform research for, the Marketing Manager in the preparation of marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Participates in resource planning to enable the marketing group to meet all production milestones.
  • Produces marketing and promotional materials.
  • Assists with day-to-day marketing and communication activities, supporting both internal and external communication, to include social media campaigns, speaking engagements, presentations, exhibitions, recruitment activities, etc.
  • Assists with Marketing and Communications activities as required by Marketing Manager and Senior Management.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree; ideally in marketing, public relations, or communication.
  • Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Good business English and general office practice skills.
  • Creative approach to communication and brand awareness.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products.
