We are seeking an experienced and driven Manager, Purchasing to oversee the procurement and purchasing of goods and services for our luxury hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process from start to finish, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize the procurement process and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards
• Identify and select vendors based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities, negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to support the hotel operations and maintain stock levels within the budget constraints
• Collaborate with department heads to identify purchasing needs and develop specifications for products and services

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and ethical sourcing practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
