We are looking for a reliable Logistics Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. Logistics Manager responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Coordinate with on ground local channel partners for ensuring timely shipment executions
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• To ensure the cargo and shipment insurance is in line with product protocol
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• To ensure monthly and annual inventory audit and reconciliation

Requirements:

• Minimum Graduate with 7-8 Years of logistics experience/Minimum 4 years of experience in managing a team
• Solid knowledge of INCO terms will be preferred
• Good connections with vessel owners and shipping lines/ agents will be preferred
• Experience in vessel chartering and management
• Strong communication and conflict management skills
• Must be willing to travel to Africa when required
• Strong skills in managing and training people in documentation and logistics
