The Learning & Development Intern will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of training and development solutions, as defined by the strategic direction of the team and agreed upon with the relevant Learning & People Development Senior Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and follow-up on all training activities – Internal & External
  • Assist in developing quality introductory, ongoing training plans and learning activities
  • Maintain active monitoring and follow-up through on-going coaching post training
  • Guide and support junior, mid-level members
  • Provide support and development of Departmental Trainers as required
  • L&D Administration and Reporting
  • Register all training activities within a training matrix
  • Monitor and track training activities by maintaining accurate updated records of participant information and a dashboard
  • Maintain an ongoing Training Calendar to ensure learning resources and opportunities are maximized

Requirements:

  • Passionate about learning and development
  • Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), including presentation and training skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills – must be able to communicate effectively and be able to address challenges when they occur with confidence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management
  • Capable of identifying and adopting best practices
  • Team player who is cooperative with sharing of information and knowledge
  • Strong organization and planning skills with a close attention to detail
  • Ability to make decisions and work autonomously
  • Curiosity about how multinational businesses succeed through their people
