The Land Surveyor carries and sets up survey equipment and marks measurements, as directed. The Land Surveyor works directly under the supervision of the Assistant Resident Engineer or the Resident Engineer and works in close co-ordination with the concerned Engineer (Structural/Materials/Utilities/Electro-mechanical).

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform land/field surveys and geodetic calculations.
• Interface with client and contractors to determine and verify project survey requirements.
• Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting-out and levels. Check services locations and ensure their protection.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/Associate Degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in road works and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge and experience in using survey software such as Totalstation, level, theodolite and working knowledge of Microstation and AutoCAD software.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
