The Information Technology Project Manager will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and will serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the TMC, including the management of a staff of over 50 people.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the TMC.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including transportation agencies, city officials, and emergency response teams, to ensure that the TMC is able to provide the necessary support in times of crisis.
• Develop and implement training programs for TMC staff to ensure that they are equipped to handle the demands of the facility.
• Ensure that the TMC is in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor the performance of the TMC and its staff, and take corrective action as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable university
• Minimum 15 years experience in traffic and transportation engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience managing traffic management center operations
• Substantial experience managing one or more large operations contracts
• Substantial experience in at least one of the following Contract related areas: systems engineering, systems integration, or software development, traffic/transportation engineering; Responsible for long-range strategic program planning activities;
• Demonstrated success in keeping programs on schedule and within budget while meeting the performance goals of contracts managed, and in effectively managing multiple Team Members
• Possess a thorough knowledge of ITS and Traffic Management principles and systems;
