1- Innovation Specialist
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with IT colleagues and business partners across the IT portfolios to develop the innovation funnel in coordination with the innovation channel managers, organise design thinking sprints for identification of problem/opportunity areas for innovation.
  • Collaborate with the different innovation channel managers (Innovation Lab, Incubators & Accelerators) to assess the progression of work through its different stages of the innovation funnel and provide regular status reports to IT Leadership team.
  • Support the overall innovation, Incubation and start up ecosystem for Intelak, Xlab and Dubai Future accelerators. Act as the prime contact with start-ups, mentors, investors and stakeholders. Support other innovation initiatives and projects.
  • Monitor all the ideas in the innovation funnel assigned to external partners in line with Innovation at Scale model which leverages the skills and abilities of third parties such as academic institutions, commercial partners, incubators and accelerators and start-up companies.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Degree in a subject relevant to management, Technology or Innovation plus 5 years of experience
  • Experience within technology innovation or related field within venture capital or start-ups
  • High level understanding of technology
  • High level understanding of aviation, travel or tourism industry
