you will be responsible for developing and managing a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets. You will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, create and implement strategies, and track and report on progress. In addition, you will be responsible for coaching and developing individual team members to improve their performance. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a sales team, as well as a proven track record of achieving sales targets. He or she will be a strong leader with excellent communication and people management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Understand the business goals of the company and how your department contributes to those goals
- Understand the key performance indicators (KPIs) for your department and how to track and improve them
- Communicate with your team regularly to ensure that everyone is aware of company and departmental objectives, and their role in achieving them
- Set clear expectations for your team and hold individuals accountable for their performance
- Provide feedback and coaching to employees on a regular basis to help them improve their performance
- Conduct performance reviews for your team on a regular basis and provide constructive feedback
- Identify training and development needs for your team and individual employees and arrange for appropriate training to be provided
- Recognize and reward high performers on your team
- Handle disciplinary issues in accordance with company policy
- Assist in the development of succession plans for key positions on your team
- Participate in special projects or initiatives as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
- 10+ years experience in performance management, HR, or related field
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful performance management programs
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
