We have partnered with a leading bank in the entire MENAT region who are looking for Head of Group Innovation, the purpose of the unit is to develop a vision of Fintech engagement, digital partnerships, and emerging tech with a strategy to incubate/ partner with Fintechs, develop new digital business models and drive digital innovation to create competitive advantage & value for the bank.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of innovation within the organization
- Business co-creation around broad themes- Customer experience, New products, Operational efficiency and Staff engagement
- Community; Fostering external partnerships with startups, tech and partners to tap global talent and Govt. for digital data sharing driving digital transformation. Running intrapreneurship and external programs (Fintechs, partners & Students), and forming a strategic partnerships with incubators/ accelerators globally
- Strategically look at investment opportunities in Fintech, in collaboration with Group Strategy.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in technology and business units driving digital agenda, ideally the candidate should have launched new products successfully and should also demonstrate solid examples of initiatives delivered
- Strong evidence of creating an innovation culture and mindset across enterprise-class organizations (
5,000 people) - Minimum 5 years in leading Innovation engagement for Enterprise-class organizations
- Understanding the trends in the Innovation and technology businesses
- Strong leadership qualities and a peoples person, managing their passion, continuously motivating and empowering them to come forward and develop out-of-the-box thinking
