Our client is a highly reputed semi-government entity known globally for their innovative developments in becoming a desirable hub for businesses, culture and entertainment. They are looking to hire for a ‘Head of Accounting’ position within the Finance department to oversee financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Produce reports to review; improve processes based on a thorough understanding of accounting systems as well as support with internal and external audit management.
• Manage monthly reconciliations between financial records and Inventory Management systems along with ensuring compliance with internal policies and processes
• Overseeing management, verification and processing IPCs along with maintaining vendor relations in relation to acceptance reports, invoices and substantiation
• Ensuring payments follow relevant contract terms, and maintaining documentation of payments, guarantees and insurance.
• Lead and manage the division by setting objectives and evaluating performance of the team

Requirements:

• 7+ years of accounting experience out of which 3+ years are in a management role
• Require Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• Need to have 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable
• Experience in managing ERP systems (SAP is highly desirable)
• Need to have good knowledge in IFRS
• Experience in Real Estate/ Event Industries is preferred
