Job Description
An interesting position is currently available for an experienced practice manager. In addition to acting as the principal contact between practice providers, clinical leadership, and customers, responsibilities include the effective management of all assigned facilities through the deployment of clinical providers, the implementation of company policies, procedures, and projects.
Job Requirements:
- Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, as well as office and business policies and procedures, to maintain a safe working environment and to ensure compliance with all applicable state dental legislation.
- Collaborate with human resources to spot problems with employees, investigate them, and solve them before, during, and after the hiring, retaining, and firing processes.
- Maintain sophisticated knowledge of software systems for data compilation, storage, and retrieval for managerial reporting.
- Review and organize office processes, such as but not limited to payroll, invoice, and cash management.
- Create and carry out office budgets, and oversee the purchase of standard office supplies and equipment
- The Practice Manager plays a critical role in the daily operations of the hospital and reports directly to the chief of staff.
- Communicate with the hospital to help with problem-solving and objective-setting in cooperation with Clinical and Practice Management Leadership.
- Keep your workplace in tip-top shape for the sake of your clients and patients.
- Planning work hours, arranging time off, and handling employees’ training and development requirements.
- Coordinate efforts and check in on the day-to-day progress of the clinical, administrative, and billing staff.
Skills:
- Must understand HR employment legislation, record keeping, and confidentiality basics.
- Three years of experience in the hospital, veterinary, service industry, etc. is required, preferably with some managing responsibilities (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).
- Ability to handle all aspects of a department and communicate (orally and in writing) with patients, physicians, and colleagues is essential.
- Superior interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively communicate and solve problems, and the bravery to face and resolve issues within the team.
- Qualifications equivalent to two or more years of office management experience will be considered.
