AOG Desk Manager will be responsible to manage recovery of AOG situations, take immediate actions and if required present different options to solve all material, regulatory or manpower related problems in a quick and cost effective manner. AOG Desk Manager also ensure material availability of MEL related spare part and furthermore of the common parts by a constant stock review on all maintenance stations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communication and coordination of Maintenance Providers, Maintenance Control Center, Planners, affected suppliers and other involved parties in the event of AOG in order to achieve the most efficient recovery of the aircraft
- Procurement of urgently needed aircraft spare parts incl. placing Purchase-, Repair-, Loan- and Exchange Orders
- Arranging, tracing and tracking of ongoing shipments worldwide
- Arranging the delivery of parts from the main base to other stations
Job Requirements:
- Relevant University Degree
- Fluent English knowledge
- 2-5 years of experience in logistics or procurement
- Ability of analytical and cost-conscious thinking and dealing
