Accounts Receivable Clerk Jobs in Dubai | voco Dubai Careers

Accounts Receivable Clerks correctly bill clients for goods or services. They work with other departments to verify and record transactions and resolve account discrepancies. They also collect the correct amounts from their customers on time by providing the necessary support throughout those processes.

Responsibilities:

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
• Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Maintains records by microfilming invoices, debits, and credits.
• Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers;
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures.

Requirements:

• 2 years of working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk, Should have understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations, you should be able to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records, High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, should be familiar with opera software.
