JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Financial Services Branch is seeking a dependable and organized professional to join our Reconciliation and Financial Reporting Unit. The incumbent works under the close supervision of the Accounting Administrator I of the Reconciliation and Financial Reporting Unit; processes the daily CD 102 file from the State Controller’s Office (SCO); reconciles the General Cash Account (1110) and other miscellaneous accounts Uncleared Collection accounts; posts the daily Check Control Summary along with other miscellaneous Journal Entries (JE) to the Oracle Administrative and Financial System (AFS); tracks the SCO 045 General Checking Account activities; prints and distributes the daily SCO JE and monthly SCO reports; verifies daily General Ledger postings for the unit; assists with the daily revenue remittance, cashiering functions, and year-end activities; and develops, updates, and revises desktop procedures as needed.
