We are sourcing for an Accountant who has the experience and confidence to handle the day to day accounting of the company’s accounts in India. Position is to be based in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile different types of accounts.
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
• Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations.
• Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls.
• Responsible for timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, cash-flow management.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns(INDIA)
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies for the set up.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting field
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• In-depth understanding of India’s accounting process
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like Xero Zoho books, etc.preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Preferably qualified CA/ACCA(NOT MANDATORY)
